Relationship between Spirituality, Meditation, Mind Power, Happiness, Depression and Brain Chemicals functions
Every day when we get back from work, what do we do? Take a shower and then eat. Why? To be clean of course and to get rid of the germs now that we have entered our house. It’s common sense, isn’t it? But if you care about your physical hygiene, shouldn’t you care about your energetic hygiene as well? Master Choa Kok Sui says that “practicing Meditation on Twin Hearts is like taking a Spiritual Shower”. That is why we should practice this meditation on a daily basis. That way we clean our Aura and chakras and we make it easier for the pranic energy to flow through us. Moreover, we experience a higher level of awareness and everything becomes clearer to us.
Can our thoughts affect our health?
We have 5 sense organs. We hear, see, smell, taste and feel with these sense organs. We are able to create experiences and create thoughts with the information we receive through these senses. These thoughts modify the internal chemical environment of our body. When similar thoughts are created in our minds they become our character and personality.
The repeated modifications of the chemical environment in our body decides whether we will be fit and healthy or fat and unhealthy.
For eg: if we are struggling to travel to our work place every day, the heavy traffic is irritating us because we are afraid of getting late, we get anxious and irritated. Frequent anxiety will increase the stress chemicals called stress hormones in the body.
Release of these stress hormones on a regular basis reduces the vital muscle tissue of our body which becomes a cause of weakness and increase in body fat.
On the other hand, if we watch our thoughts carefully, keep our attitude positive, it’s easier to maintain a good chemical environment inside our body which also helps to keep us for and healthy.
It’s easy to be physically fit and healthy if we are emotionally fit and healthy.
